Sri Raghavendra Paints

We are over at 69, Devi Naga in Kolathur. It gets pretty busy around here most mornings when people start showing up looking for specific colors. Sri Raghavendra Paints has been in this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the cans, mixing things up, and making sure the lids are tight. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a big delivery of buckets, but we manage. People from around the neighborhood drop by asking what kind of finish they need for their walls. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything, just rows of shelves and the smell of fresh paint. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy containers and checking the codes on the labels. The floor usually has a few spots of dried color here and there, but that’s just how a paint shop is. If you walk past the Devi Naga area, you’ll see our sign. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate because those fumes can get strong after a few hours. Usually, we're busy organizing the stock or talking to a painter who stopped in for supplies. It is a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and get to work. Nothing too complicated about it. We just keep the shelves full and help folks find what they need for their houses. It is a local place and we know many of the faces coming through.
