Hus School

You will find Hus School out on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, right across the way from the Sipcot IT Park. We are located in Egattur Village, specifically near the Padur post office. It is a bit of a drive for some people, but being out here in the Kanchipuram district gives us more space than we would have in the middle of the city. The IT park across the road is always humming with activity, but we stay focused on what is happening inside our own gates. It is a fairly modern building compared to some others. We have students coming from all the big residential complexes around Padur and Kelambakkam. The traffic on OMR can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but we have learned to plan around it. It is a fast-growing area with new shops and flats popping up all the time. Our school is a bit like that too, with something always going on. We have the usual classrooms and some outdoor spaces where the kids can burn off energy. It is not a super formal or stiff place. We talk to the parents and generally know most of the kids by name. Living and working out here means you often see the same people at the local shops. It is a nice mix of the old village feel and all the new development. We just do our best for the families.
