Hajara Stores

Hajara Stores is located at No. 217 on Linghi Chetty Street, though the new number is 208. It can be a bit confusing for people who are visiting for the first time, but we have been here so long that most locals don't even need the number to find us. Our store is a bit old-fashioned and the shelves are usually overflowing with all sorts of items. We try to keep everything in its place, but when it gets busy, things can get a bit jumbled. It is a family business, so you will usually find one of us standing behind the wooden counter. We don't have any of those fancy barcode scanners or neon signs. We just do things the way we have always done them. Linghi Chetty Street is a very active place with lots of history and we feel like we are a part of that. We know many of our customers by their first names and we have seen their families grow up over the years. We don't spend money on advertising or big promotions. Our reputation comes from being here every day and helping people find what they need. It is a lot of work and we stay open late most nights. We are proud of our little shop and the way we do things. It is simple, honest, and it keeps us going.
