Govt Boys Senior Secondary School

Govt Boys Senior Secondary School is located at No 216 in Ram Nagar, which is part of the Velacheri area. Specifically, we are on 3rd Street in Vijaya Nagar. Velacheri has grown so much lately, but this little pocket where the school is feels a bit more like a neighborhood. The school is a simple building. It’s where the boys from the nearby houses come to finish their senior years. We have a plain yard and a couple of buildings with classrooms. It’s not a fancy place with a lot of modern architecture. It’s just brick and mortar. The mornings are usually the busiest time when everyone is arriving at once. During the day, it settles down into a routine of lessons and bells. We have a small staff room where we keep all the registers and the lunch boxes. The furniture in the classrooms is basic, just what you need to sit and write. Sometimes the water pump acts up and we have to get someone to look at it. The neighborhood is quiet enough, though you can hear the train in the distance sometimes. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just provide a place for the local boys to study. It’s a straightforward life here. We come in, do our work, and head home when the final bell rings.
