Govt Boys High School

Our school is located at No 12/76 on 3rd Cross Street in Ambattur. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it can get quite industrial and busy. Govt Boys High School is right in the middle of it all. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a sturdy place where we work. We have a lot of students coming in every day from the surrounding neighborhoods. The noise level can get pretty high, especially during the lunch hour. We spend a lot of our time making sure the boys are where they are supposed to be. The desks are a bit scratched up and the walls have some marks, but it shows the place is used. We have a small staff room where we sit and have our lunch. Usually, we are busy marking papers or talking about the schedule for next week. The air in Ambattur can be a bit dusty because of all the activity nearby. We have a few old cupboards filled with records that go back many years. It feels like a very grounded place. We don't use any complicated systems, just pen and paper for most of our work. The street outside is always full of people and vehicles. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It's a regular place for regular people and we like the routine of it.
