Govind Gurukul Ashram School

Our school is tucked away at No F 85 on 2nd Street in Anna Nagar East. This part of Chennai is usually pretty quiet, which suits us just fine. We’ve been operating out of this building for a good while now, and it feels like home to us. It’s not a massive campus, but we make the most of the space we have. You’ll find us busy with the daily routine of classes and activities. The 600102 area has its own vibe, and we’re just a small part of that community. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We mostly just rely on people seeing us on 2nd Street or hearing about us from their neighbors. The staff here are regular folks who live nearby and care about the work. Sometimes things get a little disorganized, especially when we’re planning an event, but we always figure it out in the end. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but that doesn't stop the teaching. We focus on the day-to-day stuff like getting the books out and keeping the classrooms tidy. We keep our doors open and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It’s a practical place for kids to spend their day. Nothing fancy, just an ashram school doing what we've always done right here.
