Government Zp School

Government Zp School is located right on 18/48, Queen Victoria Road in Poonamallee, Chennai. If you know the area, it is quite a busy spot. We have been around for a long time now. The building is just a normal government building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Every morning, the kids start showing up around eight. Most of them walk from the nearby streets. You can hear the noise from the classrooms if you are passing by on the road. We spend most of our time just making sure everyone is where they should be. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. The fans try their best but it is still Chennai. We have the usual desks and blackboards. Some of the walls could use a bit of paint, but it works for what we need. It is just a place for the local children to come and learn their lessons. There is not a lot of extra space for things, but we manage with what we have got here in Poonamallee. Sometimes the traffic on Queen Victoria Road gets really backed up, making it hard to get in or out. But that is just how it is around here. We have teachers who have been here for years. They know most of the families by name now. It is a simple setup without any big bells or whistles.
