Government Upper Primary School Bahardoi

Government Upper Primary School Bahardoi is located at No 227 on Kilpauk Garden Road. It is a fairly quiet area with a lot of nice houses and trees around. The school itself is an older building that has been here for a long time. We have the upper primary classes here. The rooms have very high ceilings which helps a bit with the heat, though it still gets quite warm in the middle of the day. We have the usual wooden desks and chairs that have been used by many students over the years. You can often see dust dancing in the sunlight coming through the windows. We don't have a lot of the modern equipment you see in private schools. We mostly use books and chalk. The teachers know the families around here quite well since many have had multiple children pass through these doors. At lunchtime, the yard gets very noisy with all the kids sitting together to eat. We have a few stray cats that have made the school their home and the kids sometimes share their food with them. It’s a very simple and straightforward environment. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many children, there is always something to fix or clean. We don't do anything fancy, just the regular daily lessons. It’s a familiar part of the Kilpauk neighborhood and we just keep going day by day with the resources we have available to us in this old building.
