Government School'S

Our place is on Plot No 7, 16th Street, just off the Perumbakkam Main Road in Medavakkam. It’s a busy area these days with all the new buildings going up around us. We’ve stayed pretty much the same, though. It’s just a standard school building for the local kids. We have a few rooms and a small area where they can run around. The staff here is mostly local people who live nearby. We don’t have any polished brochures or fancy websites. We just open the gates in the morning and wait for the students. Some of the desks are old, and the floors get dusty, but we keep it going. It’s a real school where real work happens every day. The 16th Street is usually full of parked bikes and people moving around. We are tucked in there. It’s not hard to find if you’re looking for Plot 7. We don’t try to pretend to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a government school doing its part in Medavakkam. We see a lot of the same faces every year. We just keep our heads down and do the daily chores that come with running a school. It's a lot of sweeping and organizing and talking to parents. We just take it one day at a time here. That's the only way to manage it all. It’s just a simple life for us here at the school with the neighborhood kids.
