Government School

The Government School is located at No: 2, Om Sakthi Nagar in the Vanagaram area of Porur, Chennai. It is a very basic school for the children living in and around the Om Sakthi Nagar neighborhood. We have been operating from this location for quite a while. The building is simple and doesn't have any elaborate decorations. It is just a place with classrooms where local kids come to study. Since we are in Porur, there is always a lot of traffic nearby, but our street is a bit tucked away. We follow the standard government rules for teaching and school hours. Most of the people who work here are just regular folks from the city who want to help out. We don't have any big slogans or missions; we just show up every morning and open the doors for the students. The kids bring their own bags and we provide the space and the teachers. It is a very local setup. You might see parents dropping off their kids on scooters in the morning. We have a small playground area, but it is mostly just about the daily lessons. The 600116 area is growing fast, but we just keep doing what we have always done. It is an honest, straightforward school for anyone in the community who needs it. We focus on the basics and try to keep things running smoothly without any fuss.
