Government School Sethubavachathiram

We are located at No 10/740 on the 3rd Main Road in V G P Babu Nagar which is part of Medavakkam. This area has grown a lot lately and there are new houses popping up everywhere you look. Our school sits right on the main road so we get a lot of the dust and noise from the passing cars and buses. It is a basic government building with several floors and a lot of stairs to climb. We usually start the day by checking the water tanks and making sure the lights are working in the classrooms. The rooms are plain with white walls and rows of benches for the students. We don't have a lot of extra space so we have to be very organized with how we use the rooms. Most of the children come from the surrounding parts of Medavakkam and walk to school every morning. We have a small courtyard where everyone gathers for the morning assembly before the heat gets too bad. I have been working here for a few years now and it is a lot of the same routine day after day. We just focus on the lessons and keeping the kids on track with their studies. It is a straightforward place and we don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just show up and do our jobs on the 3rd Main Road like everyone else in the neighborhood.
