Government Muslim High School

Our school, the Government Muslim High School, is situated out in Sholinganallur. We are at 89-91 Clasic Farms Road, which is a part of Chennai that has seen a lot of new buildings and growth recently. Even with all the IT offices around, we are just a regular high school serving the local community. The 600119 area is usually humming with activity. We have a good amount of space here on Clasic Farms Road. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have our classrooms and the usual school stuff you would expect to see. The students come in from the surrounding residential blocks. Some walk and some take the bus from further away. It is a noisy place when the lunch bell goes off, but that is typical for a school. We do not really go for any of that high-level marketing talk or big slogans. We are a government school, plain and simple. We provide a place for the kids to study and that is the main goal every day. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the summer months, but we get through it. People know where we are. If you are heading down towards the coast or the main roads in Sholinganallur, you probably passed by us at some point. It is an honest place. No big frills or anything like that. We just open the gates in the morning and close them in the evening.
