Government Model Girls High School

This is the Government Model Girls High School over in Thoraipakkam. We are located at Number 2/97 on SBI Colony 1st Street. It is a decent spot, away from the heaviest traffic on the main roads, which makes it a bit easier for the girls to get to class without too much trouble. Being in Chennai 600097, it gets quite warm during the middle of the day, but we manage just fine. The school has been part of this community for a while. You will see the students walking in groups from the nearby bus stops every morning. It is a typical high school environment. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles, just the usual classrooms and desks. The walls could probably use some fresh paint, but the space works for what we need. It feels like a small neighborhood here even though Thoraipakkam has grown so much lately with all the new buildings. Most of the families living around SBI Colony know us well. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids have a place to sit and learn their subjects. Sometimes the street gets a little crowded when school lets out in the afternoon, but it clears up fast. We are not a corporate office or anything like that. Just a local government school for the girls in this area. It is pretty straightforward here. We show up, do the work, and go home. That is about it.
