Government Hrs Sec School Saleha

We have been here on Shastri 1st Cross Street for quite a while now. If you walk down Saligramam, you’ll find our school at number 7/35. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the students start arriving. Most of the kids live nearby, so they just walk or bike over. The building isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We have classrooms for the older students finishing their higher secondary years. Teachers are usually busy grading or talking to parents near the gate. It gets loud during recess, which is normal for a school. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with cycles, but everyone manages. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the wall. It’s a regular government school where the focus is just on getting through the lessons. The neighborhood knows us well. We see the same faces every day, from the local tea shop guys to the parents dropping off lunch boxes. It is just a part of the local life here in Chennai. There’s always something happening, whether it’s an exam or just a regular Tuesday morning. We try to keep things running smoothly despite the heat. The walls could use a bit of fresh paint, and the gate squeaks a little when you open it, but nobody really minds. We just keep the routine going, day in and out, year after year.
