Government Higher Secondary School Dhapara

We are located over at No 30 on Pachaippas College Hostel Road. It is a fairly well-known part of Chetpet, mostly because of all the colleges and hostels nearby. Government Higher Secondary School Dhapara has been part of this street for a long time now. The road can be a bit quiet in the mid-morning or very busy depending on the time of day. Our building is a simple one, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we have got our classrooms and the small office where we handle all the daily paperwork. It feels like a lived-in space, which it definitely is. We spend our days here going through the curriculum and making sure the students are in their seats. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we are always sweeping up. It is a local school for the kids who live around here. We do not have a big playground, but we make do with the space we have. You can hear the fans humming in the background while the teachers are talking. It is just a regular, working government school. We do not spend much time worrying about how things look, as long as the lessons are happening and the kids are showing up on time. Being near the hostel road means there is always someone walking by. We have become a fixture in this corner of Chetpet. It is just a place for learning.
