You can find us at Door No 4/323 C Block, along the OMR Road in Kottivakkam. This is the 600041 area of Chennai. Since we are on OMR Road, there’s always a lot of noise from the IT corridor nearby, with buses and cars rushing past. The school is a bit of a contrast to all the modern glass buildings you see further down the road. We are just a plain building in C Block. The students come from the local families in Kottivakkam. It’s a higher secondary school, so we have a lot of teenagers coming in every morning. The playground isn't massive, but it’s enough for the kids to get some air. We have old-style classrooms with ceiling fans that sometimes creak. The teachers spend their days moving from one room to another. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a big website or fancy marketing. We just have our classrooms and our books. The air can get quite humid because we aren't too far from the coast. We just deal with it and keep the lessons going. Parents come by the gate to pick up their children, and the whole street gets crowded for about thirty minutes every afternoon. It’s just a regular school life here. We do our best with what we have, and the days go by pretty fast on OMR Road. It is what it is.
