Government High School Pondikala

Government High School Pondikala is situated at No 7/35 B in Mogappair West. It’s tucked away in a spot that feels very much like the rest of Chennai 600037. The school building is pretty straightforward, just a few floors where the students spend their days. It isn’t a very big place, but it gets the job done for the local families around here. We open up early and the day usually goes by in a blur of bells and moving between rooms. There’s nothing too special about the furniture or the way the place looks. It’s a government school, so things are functional rather than pretty. You’ll see the teachers carrying their bags and stacks of papers every morning. We have a small area where the kids hang out during their breaks. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but that’s just Chennai for you. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. We don’t spend time on big speeches or fancy events. It is mostly just about making sure the classes happen and the kids are learning what they need to. The building might need a fresh coat of paint here and there, but it stands strong. It’s just a solid, everyday school where life happens at a steady pace for everyone involved.
