Our school is located at No 52/12 & 13 in the Anna Nagar West Extension area. It’s a decent-sized plot where we spend most of our week. The school has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. We have a mix of teachers who have been here for decades and some newer faces too. Every morning, the gates open and the kids start trickling in. Some walk, some come on their parents' scooters. The classrooms are basic—just benches, desks, and a board at the front. It’s not a fancy place, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the attendance is right. During the rainy season, things can get a bit messy with the mud outside, but we manage to keep the hallways clean enough. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together when we have a break. We talk about the kids, the lessons, and just life in general. It’s a practical place.
