Government High School Papdel Khilchipu is tucked away in the T.V.S. Colony area of Anna Nagar West. We are located at R48G, specifically on the first floor of a building in Collectors Nagar. It is a bit different from your typical sprawling school campus because of the floor layout, but we make it work for our students. Being in an extension of Anna Nagar West means there is a lot of activity around us. The first floor gets a lot of light during the day. We have set up the rooms to fit as many students as we can comfortably manage. Teachers spend a lot of time moving between the classes, and the sound of lessons often carries out into the hallway. It is a busy place from Monday to Friday. Most of the kids who come here live in the surrounding colony or nearby streets. We don't have a big playground, so the students have to be a bit more creative during their free time. The address is a bit specific, being in Collectors Nagar, but most locals know the T.V.S. Colony landmarks. We focus on the books and the exams, keeping things moving along through the school year. The stairs are usually full of kids rushing up and down between periods. It is just a simple, functional school setting without any extra frills. We do our best with the space we have here in Chennai 600101. It isn't a large place, but we have enough room for the desks and chairs required for daily study.
