Government High School Pahadikhera

The school is located over at Icf Kambar Arangam in the Icf Colony. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly residential and quite quiet compared to the main roads. We are right there in Chennai 600038. It’s a government school, so we don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The classrooms are basic, but they get the job done. The kids from the colony walk over or come on their cycles. You can see the cycles parked in a row near the main door. The trees around the colony give some shade, which is nice during the summer months when Chennai gets really hot. We spend our days going through the books and sitting in the staff room when we have a free period. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It feels like a small community here. Everyone knows each other. The local shops nearby are where we get our tea or a quick snack in the afternoon. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just us, the students, and the daily work of running a school in this part of town. The building is sturdy, even if the paint is peeling in a few spots. We just keep things moving. It’s a steady kind of life here at Government High School Pahadikhera. There is no need for anything extra.
