Government High School Kulluru

Government High School Kulluru is located over in Anna Nagar West. Our specific spot is No 43 Ap Block, on 13th Street within the Ur Nagar Extension. It is a standard high school building that serves the local families around here. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so things stay relatively calm except for when school starts and ends. We have the usual collection of classrooms and a staff room where teachers gather to grade papers or have their tea. The building has seen many years of students passing through its doors. Some of the benches are a bit wobbly and the blackboards are stained from years of chalk, but they still do the job. We keep a simple schedule here. Students arrive in their uniforms, and we follow the state curriculum. There is a small space outside where the kids gather for assembly in the mornings. Sometimes the Chennai heat makes things a bit tough, but we have enough windows to catch a breeze. Finding us isn't too hard if you know the Ur Nagar area. It’s just a place of work and study for everyone involved. We don't have a big gate or anything flashy. It's just a local school for the community kids to get their education. The 13th street is usually lined with a few parked scooters belonging to the staff. It is a practical environment where the focus is just on the daily lessons and getting the students through their grades.
