Government High School Khuteli

Government High School Khuteli is located at No 281 on Pillayar Kovil Street in Mogappair. Our area is Chennai 600037. The street is named after the temple nearby, so it is a landmark most people recognize. We are in a fairly old building that has seen a lot of students and parents over the years. Our office is on the street level, making it easy for anyone to drop in. It is not a large space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries or visitors. Pillayar Kovil Street gets busy during festival times, but otherwise, it is a steady flow of local traffic. We have our desks set up near the front so we can see who is coming. The walls are covered with some old maps and school notices. We do not go for any modern office look. It is a bit messy at times with all the books and ledgers, but we know where everything is. The air can get a bit still in the summer, but we make do with the fans. We have been part of this Mogappair neighborhood for a long time now. People know they can find us here during normal hours. It is a down-to-earth place where we just focus on the school’s day-to-day needs. We do not have a receptionist; you just come in and say hello. It is a simple, local way of doing things.
