Government High School Katra Rewa Teonthar

We've been here at R S Nagar for a while now. The school is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. It's an old-style setup. Kids come in early, some from nearby Pallikaranai, others from a bit further out. We've got the usual classrooms and a playground that gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up. It's not fancy, just a place for lessons. Teaching here is busy. We deal with textbooks, marking papers, and making sure the kids actually show up on time. The building at No 1/245 isn't the biggest, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise, and we have to remind the students to stay quiet in the halls. It’s just how things go. Most of us live close by, so the commute isn't bad. We see the same faces every morning. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, especially when the weather gets hot and everyone just wants to go home. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff, making sure the schedule is followed and the registers are updated. There's always someone coming in to ask about admissions or paperwork. It’s just a normal school day, over and over. Every day feels a bit like the last one, but we don't mind much. We have our coffee in the morning and get to work. It is what it is. We aren't doing anything special, just helping kids get through their high school years.
