Government High School For Deaf

We are the Government High School For Deaf, situated at No 1, Paari Cross Street in Thiruvengadam Nagar, Narayanapuram. This is in the Pallikaranai area of Chennai, with the pin code 600100. Our school is a bit different because we specifically work with students who are deaf. The environment here is a lot quieter than most schools, which makes sense given the context. We have teachers who are trained to communicate and teach in ways that work for our students. The building is right at the corner of the cross street. It’s a simple place without much decoration, just functional classrooms and a few offices. We spend our days making sure the students are following the high school lessons and learning what they need for their future. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it's a relatively calm spot. We don't have a big advertising budget or anything like that. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or through government listings. It’s a small community within the school, and everyone pretty much knows each other. We just try to provide a steady place for learning every day. If you come by Paari Cross Street, you'll see the sign out front. It’s just a regular government building where we do our best for the kids who come here. We don't have many fancy tools, but we make do with what we have.
