Government Girls Higher Secondary School Goharganj

The school is located on Thambiah Reddy Road in West Mambalam. It is a bit of a crowded area with a lot of shops and houses nearby. We are a government girls' higher secondary school, and we have been at this location for many years. The building is an older one, so it doesn't have all the modern looks you see in newer places. We have plenty of classrooms, but things can get a bit tight when everyone is in. The teachers here are mostly from around the city and they travel in every morning. We don't have a massive field for sports, but the girls find space in the courtyard to spend their break time. We focus on the daily lessons and getting through the textbooks. It is a simple life here with a lot of routine. You will see students in their uniforms arriving early and hanging out near the gates. We deal with the usual school problems like repairing old benches or making sure the water coolers are working. It is just a regular place for local girls to get their education. We don't use any flashy advertisements to get people to come here. They know us because we have been part of the neighborhood for so many long years. It is a noisy, busy place but we like the energy. We just keep doing our work every day without making a big fuss about it.
