Government Boys Higher Secondary School Sarangpur is located right on Cth Road in Avadi. It’s a busy spot here at number 688. Most mornings you’ll see the boys walking in through the gates before the traffic on the main road really picks up. We’ve been part of this Chennai neighborhood for quite some time now. The building itself is straightforward and serves its purpose for the older students finishing their higher secondary years. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular government school where the hallways get a bit noisy between periods. People around Avadi know us well because we’ve been at this address for years. Sometimes the humidity makes the classrooms a bit stuffy, but everyone just gets on with their work. You can hear the buses going by on Cth Road all day long. It's just a part of the daily life here. We have a lot of boys coming from different parts of the city, though many live close enough to walk. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and notebooks, especially when exams are coming up. It’s just how things go. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner of the grounds gets used for something. Whether it's a quick game during break or just students standing around talking, the place stays active. That’s pretty much how things are here in Sarangpur. We keep the doors open and the schedule running like usual. It’s not perfect, but it’s our school.
