Government Boys Higher Scondary School.

Our school is called Government Boys Higher Scondary School and we are over at No:610, Murugappa Reddy Street in Ambattur, Chennai 600053. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded sometimes, especially when parents are dropping off their kids. We have been operating out of this location for quite some time now. It is a plain building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. Inside, it is mostly just rows of desks and blackboards. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles here. The staff just tries to keep things organized so the boys can study. It is a lot of work keeping track of everyone, and the days can be long. Sometimes the electricity goes out or we run low on chalk, but we just carry on. We are a practical bunch. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place for students to come and learn. Most of the boys live nearby, so they just walk or bike over. It is a community school in the truest sense. There is always something that needs fixing, whether it is a desk or a window, but we manage. We are just here on Murugappa Reddy Street, doing the same thing we do every day. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important to the folks around here.
