Government B H S School

We are located at No.27 on Old Township Road in Ambattur. This is a government school that has been serving the local boys in this part of Chennai for quite some time now. The road outside is usually full of cycles and people heading to work in the mornings. Our building is a typical government structure with high ceilings and wide corridors that stay relatively cool even in the heat. We have several classrooms filled with benches where the boys sit for their daily lessons and exams. It’s a lively place, and often quite noisy during the breaks between the classes. We don't have a lot of modern equipment, just the standard things like blackboards, maps, and science kits that have been used by many batches of students before. The staff office is always cluttered with registers, papers, and various government forms that need filling out. We spend our days making sure the students are actually in their seats and following the state curriculum. It’s a very practical environment for everyone involved. We don't have a huge playground for the kids, but the boys always find some space to move around and play. It feels like a very grounded part of the Ambattur community. Most of us who work here are just trying to help these kids get through their schooling years without too much trouble. It’s a plain and simple school for the local families living nearby on Old Township Road.
