Gateway The Complete School

We are located at No 43 on Nedunchezian Road in Sholinganallur. It’s a part of Chennai that has grown very fast lately. Our school is tucked away a bit from the main highway noise, which is nice for the classrooms. We have been here for a while, and the building has seen a lot of students pass through its doors. The hallways are usually full of bags and shoes during the day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough books and desks for everyone. The staff room is always a bit messy with half-empty coffee mugs and stacks of homework. We spend a lot of time on the phone with parents or fixing things that break, like a leaky tap or a stuck window. Sholinganallur is a busy place to work, and the commute can be a bit much sometimes. We try to keep the atmosphere inside the gates a bit more relaxed. The students have their routine, and we have ours. It isn't a perfect place—the paint is peeling in a few spots and the internet is slow sometimes—but it’s where we work. We focus on getting through the lessons and making sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s just a regular school on a regular road in Chennai.
