Faith International Academy

Faith International Academy is right here in Anna Nagar, just a short walk from the K4 police station on 6th Avenue. It’s a busy spot with all the cars and bikes going past all day, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. The school building has been around for a bit and we try our best to keep it tidy for the kids who come in every morning. Most of the families living around here know us well because their children have been coming through these doors for years. It’s not a huge place, but there’s enough room for the classrooms and a bit of space for the students to move around during the break. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule, making sure the registers are marked and the lessons get done on time. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a racket and the heat in the afternoon can be tough, but that’s just how it is in Chennai. Parents often drop their kids off on their way to work, so the gate is always a bit crowded around eight in the morning. We don’t have fancy elevators or anything like that, just stairs and hallways where the kids run around when they think we aren't looking. It’s a simple setup really, just a place for learning and getting through the school year together without too much fuss. We've had to repaint a few walls lately but it still feels like home to us.
