We've been here behind the Government Museum for quite a while now. If you know Casa Major Road in Egmore, you know how busy it gets, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere. Our school is tucked away at No 13. It's not a fancy glass building or anything, just a place where kids show up every day with their heavy bags. Some days are quieter than others, but mostly it's just the sound of bells and teachers talking. The building is old but it works for us. We deal with the usual things like leaky taps or fans that make too much noise. The kids come from all over this part of Chennai. We don't really do the big fancy speeches here. It's more about getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone stays out of trouble. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can barely hear yourself think, but we manage. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's coffee orders by now. It’s just a regular school life, really. We open the gates early and close them once the last student leaves. Nothing too complicated about it. We have some trees in the courtyard that provide a bit of shade, which is nice when it gets really hot in the afternoons. It's just a local school where we try to keep things running as smoothly as possible despite the heat.
