Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School

We are located in a place called Kottaiyur, which is part of the Pannur area. It’s a bit removed from the main urban centers, so it has a more rural and peaceful atmosphere. The school grounds are fairly spread out, giving the students plenty of room to move around during their breaks. We have been here for a good number of years now, and the building shows a bit of its age, but it’s sturdy. Most of the families who send their children here are from the surrounding villages. They trust us because we’ve been part of the landscape for so long. Life here follows a very set routine. The bell rings, classes happen, and then everyone heads home as the sun starts to go down. We don't have any big marketing budgets or glossy brochures. Most people find out about us just by living nearby or through word of mouth. The classrooms have the typical desks and chairs, and we try to keep the gardens somewhat tidy when we have the time. It is a quiet existence for the most part. The teachers are mostly locals who have a real connection to the students they are teaching. We just aim to provide a decent education in a place that feels like home. It’s not a complicated mission, just daily work and keeping the school running for the next generation. It’s what we do day in and day out without much fanfare.
