Coffee Central

Coffee Central is tucked away at 11, Old Boag Road in T Nagar. This part of the city is always crowded, but our street is a bit different. We’ve been at 11, Old Boag Road for several years. The shop is small and the ceiling is a bit low. We didn't do much to change the place when we took it over. Coffee Central is mostly run by us and a couple of helpers. We don't have a big training program. We just learned by doing. T Nagar is a place where everyone is in a rush. We try to get the coffee out as fast as we can. 11, Old Boag Road isn't hard to find if you know the area. We have some old wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. They aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We don't have a fancy menu with a hundred items. We just do the basics. The walls are a bit yellow from the age of the building. Coffee Central is a real place with real problems, like the sink that drips sometimes. We just put a towel under it. 11, Old Boag Road is where we are every day from early morning. T Nagar can be overwhelming, so we try to keep things simple inside. We don't have a marketing budget. We just rely on people walking by and seeing the sign for Coffee Central.
