Clair Leather

We’re located over at 9, Ruby Park, right on Perambur Barracks Road in Pursawakkam. Clair Leather has been in this neighborhood for a while, and we’ve seen the streets change quite a bit over the years. This building at 106/107 is where we do all our work. It’s a busy area, lots of traffic and people moving around all the time, which keeps things interesting. Inside, it smells like leather, which I guess is expected. We spend our days sorting through materials and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It's just a few of us who know the trade well enough to keep things running. Sometimes the light in the back room isn't great, but we make it work with a few extra lamps. We prefer it this way, just staying local and focusing on the actual leather items. People come by Pursawakkam for all sorts of things, and we’re just one of the many spots along the road. We don't try to overcomplicate the business. If someone needs something, we see if we can do it. It’s a simple way of working that has suited us for a long time. We've got our routine down, from the morning tea to the final sweep of the floor before we head home for the night. We're just here doing our job.
