Fisherman Food

Our business, Fisherman Food, is found at No. 16 East Coovam River Road in Chindharipet. Being right by the river road means we see a lot of activity every single day. Chindharipet is a place that never really seems to sleep. We are usually up and moving before the sun is even fully out. The building at number 16 is old and has a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying it has some quirks. We deal with food products and that means things have to move fast. There is no time for sitting around. The smell of the area is something you get used to after a week or two. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy website to show off. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been buying from us for a long time. We keep our records in simple books and focus on the day-to-day tasks. The river road gets very crowded in the evenings and the noise of the horns is just part of the background. We have a small staff and everyone knows their job. There is no hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where it is needed. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the city. We just want to keep the doors open and do our work properly.
