Childrens Garden Higher Secondary School

Childrens Garden Higher Secondary School is located at No 2/4 on the 7th Lane of Dr Radha Krishna Salai in Mylapore. We are right opposite where the Yellow Pages office is. This part of Chennai is always full of life and traffic. Our school is tucked a little bit away from the main road, but you can still hear the city sounds all day. The building is an older style, which is common for Mylapore. It has high ceilings and big windows. We have students from the primary levels all the way up to higher secondary. The mornings are always a bit chaotic with parents dropping off their kids at the end of the lane. We don't have those massive glass facades or modern architecture. It’s a traditional school with a lot of history in these walls. The teachers and the staff have been here for a long time, and we know many of the families in the neighborhood. Inside, there are corridors that stay cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small space for the kids to play, but mostly it is about the classrooms and the lessons. People in this part of town know us well. We don't do any big advertising or try to sound like a corporate business. It’s just a school where we try to teach the kids every day. It feels very much like a part of the local community here on RK Salai.
