Captain Belts

You can find Captain Belts over on Umpherson Street in Broadway. It’s an old part of town and our shop fits right in with the rest of them. We’ve been making and selling belts here for a long time. The street is narrow and always packed with people moving back and forth. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s just Broadway for you. We don’t have any big showrooms or bright lights. Our space is filled with the smell of leather and the sound of the tools we use. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with scraps on the floor, but we clean it up at the end of the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around. We just like making things that last. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years, or maybe their fathers did. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Umpherson Street has changed a lot since we first opened, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We just keep our focus on the leather and the buckles. It’s practical work that we’ve done for a long time now. No need for anything fancy when the basics work just fine for us and the people who buy from us. We'll be here if you ever need a belt that doesn't fall apart.
