C V R D E Secondary School is located over in Avadi. Since we are in an area known for its military and research establishments, many of our students come from families working in those places. The school itself is quite plain, just solid buildings with long hallways. We don't have a lot of frills. The focus here is mainly on the books and getting through the syllabus each year. The climate in Avadi can be quite humid, so we have fans going in the classrooms all day long. Our playground is used for morning exercises and physical education classes. We have a library that stays pretty quiet, and a few labs for the older students to do their science experiments. The staff room is usually a busy place with teachers grading papers or planning the next week’s lessons. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; people usually find out about us through word of mouth from their neighbors. It’s a place where kids come to learn and then head home to their families. We try to keep things organized and follow the rules closely. It’s a bit of a trek for some students who live further out, so we see a lot of bicycles parked in the sheds. Every morning starts with the same routine, and we’ve been doing it that way for quite a while now.
