Apollo Tyres

People around West Tambaram probably know where Samiar Thottam 4th Cross St is if they live nearby. Our place is located at No 17/7. It’s just a regular shop where we deal with Apollo Tyres every day of the week. The Chennai weather makes the work pretty sweaty sometimes, but that is just how it is here. We open up the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening. The street isn't the widest in the area, so you have to be a bit careful when you're driving your vehicle in. We see all kinds of cars and bikes coming through the lane. It is mostly local folks from the neighborhood stopping by when they have a problem or just need a quick check on their wheels. There is nothing fancy about the office or the way we do things here. We just stay busy with the tools and the heavy rubber. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is where we spend ten minutes if things are quiet for a bit. If you are looking for us, we are right there near the corner. It gets quite noisy with the traffic from the main road reaching us, but we don't mind it much after all these years. The building is older, and we’ve gotten used to the cracks in the pavement outside. It's a plain spot for plain work. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. Just the name on the front and stacks of tyres inside.
