Mrf Ltd.

We work out of Mrf House on Greams Road in Chennai, specifically at New No 114. It’s an old, familiar building that many people in the city recognize. Mrf Ltd. is the name on the front, but for those of us who come here every day, it is just our place of work. The street outside is always packed with cars and people heading toward the hospitals or the shops nearby. Inside, things are a bit more structured, but it still has that busy, slightly worn-in feeling of a place that has been around for a long time. The elevators are often slow, so many of us just take the stairs. Our desks are piled with papers, and there is always a low hum of conversation and phones ringing throughout the floors. It isn't a modern, glass-walled office with bean bags; it feels like a real office where people have worked for decades. We have our favorite tea spots just around the corner where we go when we need a break from the desks. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, but the old fans and air conditioning units keep us going. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it is paperwork or planning. It’s a steady environment where everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. We’re just part of the daily life on Greams Road, doing our bit in a very busy city day after day.
