We’re located at 5/342 Rajiv Gandhi Salai, right on the Old Mahabalipuram Road in Thoraipakkam. If you’ve ever driven down OMR, you know how crazy the traffic can get around here. Our shop is usually stacked high with tyres of all sizes, from small car ones to big ones for trucks. The smell of rubber is pretty strong when you walk in, but after a few minutes, you don't even notice it anymore. We spend a lot of time out in the front area where it’s a bit cooler, waiting for customers to pull in. The sun hits the pavement pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets quite sweaty working with the heavy jacks and air tools. We have a small room in the back where we keep the newer stock and some of the paperwork, but most of the action happens right out by the road. Sometimes the air compressor breaks down and we have to fix it on the fly while someone is waiting. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just rely on people seeing us as they drive past. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and rolling tyres all day long. We just try to get people back on the road as quickly as we can without making too much of a mess.
