Visage Craft

Visage Craft is a small workshop located in Anna Nagar West. We’ve been in this space for a while now, and it’s where all the actual making happens. It’s not a showroom or a retail store. It’s a place with workbenches, tools, and raw materials everywhere. You’ll usually find us with dusty hands or bits of thread on our clothes. Anna Nagar West is a good spot because it’s not as loud as some other parts of the city. We have some large windows that let in the morning sun, which is helpful when we are doing detail work. We don't have a secretary or anyone to answer the door, so if we're busy with a machine, it might take us a minute to hear someone knocking. The space is a bit cramped because we keep saving scraps of material that we think might be useful later. We don't follow any corporate rules or have fancy titles. We just come in, have some coffee, and start working on whatever project is on the bench. Sometimes a design doesn't work out the first time, and we have to start over. It’s a slow process and we don't like to rush it. We aren't trying to sell a lifestyle; we’re just making things by hand in a quiet corner of the neighborhood. It’s a modest setup, but it’s everything we need to get our crafts finished. We like the independence of working for ourselves in this small studio.
