Laboni Collections

You can find us over at Plot No. 1868 in I-Block, right on 26th Street in Anna Nagar. It’s a busy part of Chennai, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Laboni Collections isn't a massive shop or a fancy boutique with a lot of shiny lights. It’s just a simple place where we keep the clothes we sell. Most days it’s just me and a couple of other people working the floor. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to keep the racks from looking too messy, though that’s hard when the afternoon rush hits. We don't have a big marketing team or a website that looks professional. Most of our customers are just people from the neighborhood who walk in while they’re out doing their errands. The 26th Street area has changed quite a bit since we first opened our doors, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have empty hangers for a day or two, but we just deal with it as it comes. It gets pretty warm in here during the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fans going all day. If you’re looking for us, we’re usually here from the morning until the sun goes down. We don’t have uniforms or scripted things to say. It’s just a local business run by real people who live around here. We just focus on what’s in front of us.
