Chick Punch

Our place, Chick Punch, is tucked away on II Avenue in Anna Nagar at C35. If you’re walking down the street, you’ll find us listed under the Brofsy Foods name on the building. It’s a very busy area with a lot of other shops and people walking by all day. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area or handling the orders that come through the front door. It gets pretty loud and hectic during the lunch rush when everyone is hungry at the same time and wants their food fast. We mostly deal with chicken dishes and getting things cooked up and packed. The kitchen can get quite warm, so we’re always moving around to stay organized and keep the orders straight. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant or anything like that. We just want to make food that people enjoy eating during their work break or when they take it home for their dinner. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it's been a particularly busy morning, and we have to tell people to wait a few minutes. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the regulars and what they usually like to order. We clean up everything every night and get ready for the next day, checking the fridge and making sure we have enough supplies. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet. The street outside is always noisy with traffic, but inside we just focus on the chicken.
