Agility Sea Foods Private Limited

Alwarpet is one of those places in Chennai that is always moving. We are on the second floor of a building at 6/22 C.P. Ramasamy Road. It’s a busy street with lots of shops and people going to work in the various offices around here. Agility Sea Foods Private Limited isn't a huge company, just a team of us working from this Alwarpet office. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the trees and the traffic below. Since we deal with sea foods, there is a lot of coordination with the docks and the transport guys. Most of our work is on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather at sea is bad or the Chennai traffic holds up the trucks. The office is usually filled with the sound of several people talking at once. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just what we need to get through the day. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in. It’s a fast-paced business but we’ve gotten used to the stress. We just try to keep things moving and make sure our suppliers are happy. It’s a regular office job with a lot of seafood talk. Sometimes the smell of the ocean follows the delivery guys in when they bring over the documents for the latest catch.
