You can find us at No 94 on GST Road, right in the heart of the bazaar area in Chengalpattu. Being on such a major road means there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. The bazaar is a noisy place, and that energy definitely filters into the school. We have a regular building that houses our classrooms and a small office area. Since we are in the 603002 zip code, we get a lot of local families who are just passing through the market anyway. The school day starts early to beat some of the heavy traffic on GST Road. Inside, it's pretty basic—just rows of desks and some charts on the walls. We don't have a massive campus, so every bit of space is used for something. Our staff mostly comes from around Chengalpattu, so we know the local shortcuts and the best places to get food nearby. We spend our time teaching the usual subjects and keeping an eye on the kids during their breaks. The building is older, and sometimes the walls need a bit of paint, but it serves its purpose. We don't try to be something we're not. It's a straightforward school in a very busy part of town. Sometimes the rain makes the bazaar area a bit messy, but we just carry on with our lessons as usual. You can often smell the jasmine and spices from the market stalls inside.
