Marg Navajyothi Vidyalaya

Marg Navajyothi Vidyalaya sits inside the Marg Swarnaboomi area, right along the East Coast Road. This part of Cheyur in Kanchipuram is where we’ve set up our school. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city traffic, which is nice for the students. The school building is part of the larger development here. We have a lot of students coming from the surrounding villages and residential spots nearby. The drive along the ECR is usually okay, though it can get busy during holiday weekends. Inside the school, things are pretty down-to-earth. We have the usual classrooms, a playground area, and the office where the paperwork gets handled. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the daily task of getting the kids through their lessons. The teachers here are mostly from the local area, so everyone kind of knows each other. We try to keep the place looking decent, but it’s a working school so there’s usually a bit of dust or some clutter in the corners. It’s a real place with real people. The 603302 area is quiet for the most part, and that reflects in the way the school runs. We don't have a lot of complicated rules, just the usual stuff to keep the day moving along without too much trouble for anyone involved. We like that the location allows for some fresh air while we go about our business.
