Guardian International School is located at 543/1 Vallalar Building, on First Street in Vallam, Chengalpattu. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which gives it a slightly different feel. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, and we have a building that fits all our needs without being overly fancy. There are several rows of classrooms and a main area where everyone gathers. We have a fair amount of students who come in from the surrounding parts of Chengalpattu. The commute can be a bit long for some of them, but the buses are usually on time. Our teachers are a dedicated group who spend their days navigating the lessons and managing the energy of the kids. It’s not a perfect place—sometimes the paint is peeling or a door squeaks—but it’s a real school. We focus on the everyday things, like making sure the chalk is stocked and the water tanks are full. The playground is a popular spot during the break, and it’s always loud with the sound of kids playing. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look corporate. Most people find out about us through word of mouth from other parents in the neighborhood.
