Annai Sathya Nursery & Primary School

Annai Sathya Nursery & Primary School is located on 6th Street in Vembakkam. It is a quiet corner of Chengalpattu, which is nice because there is not too much traffic noise during the day. We deal with the little ones mostly, from nursery age up through the primary years. The building at No.382/3 isn't a huge place, but it fits our needs for the number of students we have enrolled. We have small chairs and tables that are just the right size for the younger kids. Every morning starts with the sound of children singing rhymes or reciting their alphabets together. It is a lot of energy in a small space, but the teachers are used to it by now. Parents usually live just a few streets away, so many of them walk their kids to the gate every morning. We have a few teachers who have been here for years. They know all the children’s names and their families too, which makes it feel more like a community. The playground is just a small patch of ground where they can run around for a bit during the mid-morning break. We do not have any big corporate backing or fancy equipment to show off. It is just us, some books, and a lot of daily patience. Sometimes it is a bit messy with the art projects and toys scattered about, but that is expected with younger children. We just try to provide a regular, safe place where they can spend their time while their parents are busy.
