Pritisangam Farmers Producer Company

We started Pritisangam Farmers Producer Company at Uttam Shivaji Pawar's place in Vahagaon. It's a small village near Karad. Mostly we just focus on helping the farmers around here get their crops sorted. There are plenty of us working together in the Satara district. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the spot at house number 926. People around here know where to find us. Usually, it's just about getting the seeds or selling what we grow. We decided to get together because doing it alone was getting harder with the prices changing all the time. Being a producer company lets us talk to bigger buyers. It isn't always easy, and some days are just plain tiring, but it’s what we do. We've been at this for a bit now. If you're coming from Karad, it’s not too far a drive to Vahagaon. The roads are okay, mostly. We handle different kinds of crops depending on the season. Sometimes the rains mess things up, but that is just part of farming in this area. We try to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, just a group of local people trying to make the farm work pay off a bit better for everyone involved. It’s quiet out here, but there is always work to be done in the fields or checking on the stocks we have stored up.
